We are in need of cardboard for making wood chipped paths at the Food Forest next to In Our Backyard’s tiny homes and community garden. In Our Backyard is a non-profit we are partnering with to make their pilot project a success.
Please bring brown, limited graphics, and corrugated cardboard (Amazon and large bike boxes are great examples!) to Central Lutheran Church at 1420 Cordova Street, Anchorage Alaska 99501 by Thursday, July 24 at 5pm. And stack in on the west lawn at the edge of the parking lot.
The Workshop to lay down all the cardboard and wood chip all the paths is Thursday from 5pm-8pm. If you are interested, come on by and join us! Bring work gloves, shovels, rakes, and pitchforks if you have them.
We have already started cleaning up the food forest and pruned, trimmed, and have uncovered amazing berries! Just look at these currents! Yum!
