Join Anchor Gardens for Earth Day at ReStore on April 18th!
We’re especially excited about this year’s event since it will be hosted at the new ReStore and Office location at 3600 Arctic Blvd from 11am-4pm.
As you might be doing some Spring Cleaning consider bringing them to this event! ReStore takes furniture, decor, and building materials, and then our Make-It Classroom takes crafting supplies, as well as selling upcycled projects done by volunteers. They usually have vendors accepting electronics, raw materials like paper, cardboard, plastic, and glass, and doing gardening or canning supply exchanges. They are also hoping to add clothing swaps/donations and a food drive, as well as to invite local artists who upcycle and reimagine things.
Anchor Gardens will have a table for garden supplies and how you can upcycle or repurpose different things in the garden.
It is a great event, and ReStore loves hosting so many members of our community to celebrate Earth Day and promote sustainability.
