Garden Picnic Tour this Sunday Aug 24, 6-8pm at In Our Backyard!
All AG members are invited to our 3rd Picnic Tour event Sunday! Expand your own Alaskan fresh-from-the-garden recipe trove!
This is a garden tour sharing In Our Backyard garden and a potluck sharing our garden dishes and recipes.
In Our Backyard is building a welcoming community to provide safe interim homes and connections to resources for our unhoused senior neighbors. Come see what recycled manures, cardboard, spent grain, leaves, food scraps, coffee grounds and a lot of volunteers can create!
Please bring a dish made from your garden (at least 2 garden ingredients) and the recipe on a 3×5. How many ways can we use our produce? Prepare to have your senses delighted! And have fun visiting!
Also, please bring your own plate, cup, utensils, napkin, and chair or picnic blanket.
If you don’t have time to prepare a dish to share don’t stay home; please bring a freshly picked flower bouquet, wildflowers, weeds, vegetable leaves. Have fun and let your creativity flow!

In Our Backyard is located at 195 E. 15th Avenue, at the west side of the Central Lutheran Church parking lot. There is plenty of parking at Central Lutheran. This is an outdoor event. Kids are OK, no dogs please.
