Heard about Lasagna Gardening and want to learn more? Itching to get your hands dirty gardening? Then come join us Sunday May 17 10AM-noon for a FREE Lasagna Garden Bed Workshop at the Chanshtnu Muldoon Park Community Garden (8100 Debarr Road)! Help neighbors rehabilitate a garden bed that is sad and lonely into one that is ready to plant and thrive! Come prepared to work and get dirty (we’ll supply the tools and knowledge, you can supply the labor). Please bring some Lasagna ingredients such as: coffee grounds, food scraps, spent grain, clean leaves and grass (free of dog poop/chemicals), wet straw or hay, composted manure, woodchips, and mushroom substrate are all good options. We’ll have tasks for everyone, even folks who are shy of wheelbarrows (though if you like wheelbarrows, this is for you)!
