This is the 2nd annual recycling event to drop off any gently used and cleaned garden pots (any size), cells, trays, or any garden related item. We will store them for the winter and make them available to everyone in the spring starting with the seed exchange in March. Last year we were able to supply a few schools, a senior center, and many new and experienced gardeners with all the containers and trays needed to start thousands of new starts for the garden!

We are very excited to launch our first ever Perennial Plant Swap. Fall is the perfect time to add beautiful, medicinal, and/or edible perennials to your yard, school, office, or garden. It is also the perfect time to dig out any perennials that you want to get rid of. We would love any perennial flowers, bulbs, vegetables, plants, raspberry, currant, service, gooseberry bushes, strawberries, and any fruit trees. The best part of perennials is that they will continue to come back year after year! It is the gift that keeps on giving!

You don’t need to bring anything to go home with a car full of new treasures. No money will be exchanged.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Anyone interested in helping to set up or break down this event please contact Theresa at 907-947-8217. If you know of any schools or organizations that may want hundreds of containers/trays for their plant sales please contact Theresa too.

Workshops are in the works! Details on the Facebook event (do not need to sign into Facebook to view): Re-Used Garden Pots and Perennial Plant Exchange Event
