Seedy Saturdays bring folks together to share information and swap seeds!
On March 11, please join us for a seed exchange at the Eagle River Branch Library. Event in partnership with Eagle River Library, That Thing Goin’ On, and Chugiak/Eagle River Senior Center Garden Club.
Please bring: your extra seeds, a pen, and envelopes or baggies. The event is outdoors, so dress accordingly!
Guidelines for sharing seeds
Labels:
- Please label all seeds well
- Please be more specific than “little yellow flowers”
- One variety per envelope
Varieties:
- Bring seeds only 3 years old or younger.
- Bring Vegetables and Flowers
- No invasives please
Donate Seeds
If you have seeds you’d like to donate before any/all of these events, you can drop them off at Neighborworks, 2515 A St, Anchorage, AK 99503 before February 23rd and they will be distributed.
