Stockpile Schedule for MON 5/30-SUN 6/5

We are down to four locations with stockpile resources! Resources are going fast!! Each location has different days/times they are open and different resources available.

Donations that are received are used to help Anchor Gardens further its mission of building food security in Anchorage.

The days/times, locations, and materials are subject to change according to availability of materials. Happy Gardening!!

SOUTH:

  • Jekka at 3774 Coventry Dr: Fri 5-8pm, Sat 9-10:30am, Sun by appointment 907-903-2293
  • Resources include 7 mo. old hay with goat/chicken manure (great for hot composting!) and composted horse manure.

EAST:

  • Dohnn and Kristi at 1709 Kepner Dr: Mon -Thur 12-7pm.
  • Resources include composted horse manure

MIDTOWN

  • Joe and Erica at 1801 Stratford Court: Mon-Fri 8am-11am, Sun 12-4pm
  • Resources include composted horse manure

DOWNTOWN:

  • Theresa at I ST Community Garden (next to City Market): Mon 4-6pm, Wed 5-7pm, Sun 1-3pm
  • Resources include topsoil, composted horse manure, mushroom mycelium substrate, goat/chicken manure (7 mo.s old), (horse manure 7 mo.s or less), plastic pots, free seeds

Topsoil is at 2 locations! Quantity is limited to 55gal per household.

Topsoil from Green Earth should be arriving the week of May 16th!!

Each week I will post a new schedule as the days/times, locations, and materials may change. I will also update the weekly schedule as new materials and locations may be added.

These resources are made available until the end of May/early June OR until it is all gone.

Six stockpile locations are available this week around Anchorage!! Two locations with composted horse manure are available. Perfect for a top layer of the lasagna garden.
