Learn How to Converse with Your Land

When

08/03/22
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Event Type

Would you like to meet your land?

This workshop is an opportunity to learn how to meet, befriend, and become a better steward of your land. It can be your property, an empty lot, a woods, the Cook Inlet watershed, the state of Alaska, the planet. As Einstein stated, every molecule is conscious. When we open the door to having a relationship with the land, we can contribute to it and receive from it in remarkable ways. What intel might it share with us now & in the future? How may that inform our future behavior?

This will be an interactive workshop where we will practice techniques of asking questions & receiving information from my Garden of the Realms and also a wild piece of land. What gifting presence might be resident that is longing to communicate, contribute, &/or co-create? How can we contribute to the land and what can we receive from it? What occurs once we have its back and we know it has our back? This will be fun and potentially earth-shaking (pun intended)! Kids 12 & over are welcome.

Please bring an offering for the land, a flower, crystal, song, something meaningful to you. Also, please dress for the weather and bring a camp chair.

This is an outdoor event, please dress for the weather. Located at 2427 Ingra Street off Fireweed.

There are limited spots available. Please RSVP to Elisabeth Holmgren 907.274.4242. Thank you!
